Durant Indian Education believes it is important to promote the values and the purposes of education that addresses the culturally related academic and unique instructional needs of our Native American students in our district.

Our JOM and Title VI Parent Committee

​Our Johnson O’Malley and Title VI Parent Committee work collectively and collaboratively to develop a culturally, academic program that makes our Native American students’ success a priority.

Our Goal

The goal of Durant Indian Education is to encourage and support the educational and cultural needs as well as promoting a tradition of excellence with our Native American students.

​Neta and husband Philip have four children and five grandchildren.  All four of their children were involved in Durant Indian Education and are graduates of Durant High School.  She has five grandchildren enrolled in Durant Schools and are participants of Durant Indian Education. 
Neta has 29 years of knowledge and experience with Durant Indian Education.  She enjoys keeping up with past and present students, watching them graduate, attending college, getting married, and having families of their own and then their children coming to be in our Indian Education program.
