Durant Public Schools

Indian Education 


​Durant Public School's Indian Education program is a Pre-K through 12th Grade program coordinated in Durant, Oklahoma. Our office is located at 1313 Waco Street adjacent to the Durant Public School's administration office building.
​
​Our program is funded by two federal grants known as Johnson O'Malley and Title VI.  We are currently serving over 1,000 students and working with our school district to encourage Native American students to succeed in their ongoing education opportunities.

JOM School Supplies 
To be eligible for school supplies, students must:
  • be enrolled in Durant Public Schools
  • have a completed 506 Form on file in our office
  • be a JOM student and have tribal documentation on file from a federally recognized tribe.
